The LED-5 from COOL-LITES is a 5-LED strips that can be mounted underneath the sewing machine head just above the needle, thus putting light exactly where you need it.  The LED-5 light strip has a magnetic back so you can easily place it anywhere on a steel cased machine.

Model LED-5 comes with wire lugs to be hooked up directly into machine power source at the motor switch.

Model LED-5P comes with a standard AC plug

The LED-6 from COOL-LITES is a 6-led U-shaped strip that is meant to be mounted underneath the sewing machine head just above the needle, thus putting light exactly where you need it.  LED-6 strip has a magnetic back so you can easily place it anywhere on a steel cased machine (but can also be stuck on to the machine surface with 2-sided tape.)

Model LED-6 has wire lugs to be hooked up directly into machine power source.

Model LED-6D comes with a dimmer switch.

Overview

Parts of a stand:  1. The Legs ("K" leg, T-leg, "H" leg)
2. The table.    3. The motor (& on/off switch)   4. The foot treadle.  5. Links for the foot treadle.  6. Accessories (pedals, knee lift, lights, etc.)

One cannot put a sewing machine on just the legs.  What is needed is a "Complete" stand setup.  The table is usually cut out with a pattern that fits the specific machine that one is putting on the stand.  The motor must be placed in the correct position so the pulleys of the motor and machine line up and a belt can connect them.  Below the table there can be a treadle with a rod connecting it to the motor or an electronic pedal switch controlling the motor depending on which type of motor you are using.  There may also be a knee pad lever for foot lift or other switches depending on the type of machine and what control functions it has. 

In addition to the basics that comprise a working COMPLETE STAND, there are many accessories available including: lighting, thread holders, measuring tape, etc.

The LED-28 from COOL-LITES features a 28-LED lamp with a convenient "C" style table mounting clamp so you don't have to drill mounting holes and the light can be easily moved to change position. The extra long gooseneck aids in getting the light exactly where you need it.  There us an on/off switch right on the lamp head

Model LED-28 comes with a Table Mounting Clamp and has a standard AC plug. 
Model LED-28BL is in black and model LED-28WH is in white and features a 29" long gooseneck.

Model LED-28T version has a permanent table mount shaft that you must have a mounting hole on the table through which to insert it.  However, once it is screwed in, it is very secure. LED-28T has wire lugs which need to be hooked up directly into machine's motor switch for power.  The LED-28T has a 25.5" long gooseneck.

The LED-50 from COOL-LITES features a 50-LED lamp with a bendable gooseneck.  It mounts using a convenient table clamp.   There is an on/off switch right on the lamp head

Model LED-50 comes with a Table Mounting Clamp and has a standard AC plug.
